Any ideas of the coolest party teen
Really great teen parties can be a difficult juggling act to pull out.
As you get older adolescents want things to be more flexible and less structured. Probably also don't want to "embarrassed" by MOM and Dad or hanging around!
The trouble is, of course, that this lack of structure and natural tendency of adolescents to slack off "when it comes to getting organized can mean that really happens nothing to party of a teenager at all!
So how can you plan a party that is fun, but still cool?
1. accept that may not be wanted/needed-naturally his difficult ... Obviously it seems wrong ... ...You can after all remember the Pirate Party bella you gave when he was seven, etc, etc. ... as you succeed ... ... ... What if ... don't you just want ...No No No! -I am afraid it wouldn't.Yes, it would seem ungrateful, yes it seems unfair and-lets be honest here-is part of you that don't want to miss out on any fun .... but you're going to have to face it.No teenager wants their people hanging.
Of course, this doesn't mean that you simply leave them to get with it.Oh no still expects to help fund, to prepare and host the event! but once you've done all that you could just please keep out of sight??!!!
2. Food ..... excuse that should read FOOD!-In a world of adolescent insecurity there is a constant-pizza .... and crisps and chip and hot dogs and hamburgers and chocolate milkshakes (though not too much fruit!) and ice cream and biscuits and. ... too much food will not only help feed ravenous appetites teenagers but also provide some structure.A bit of attention for those awkward teenager-too old to play-too young to cool moments! Provide numerous that it'll get eaten!So there you have it. not too hard.
~ Paying for it!-do all the work for it!-keep away from the road during it!~
Nothing personal, but you know how it is. ... the joys of being a parent!
Seriously, if only you can judge the level of involvement .you've also judging how your teenagers are able to do things themselves .....and the potential consequences of letting them!
Leaving your boy and their friends do it their way is the best strategy. but few rules and a couple of ideas just ready too.
